Factors for development:

Despite noticeable drawbacks, Ulwe’s development is good for experts. In its 2016 Residential Advisory Report, the international property consultancy Knight Frank India reported that Ulwe’s property prices could rise by up to 70% by 2020.

Infrastructure projects such as the Navi Mumbai Airport, Mumbai Trans-Harbor Link (MTHL), the Palm Beach Road Seawoods-Ulwe link and SEZs are expected to provide the region with a fillip.

Ulwe will also see a significant upward trend in property prices due to its proximity to the national highway and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway,” says Navin Makhija, MD of the Wadhwa Group. The MTHL would definitely change the scenario of infrastructure for the better.

Another important development that will improve Ulwe’s accessibility is the Baman Dongri Railway Station, linked to the Harbor Line.
