Construction Around Nullahs Is Approved By The Maharashtra Government

The Maharashtra government loosened the regulations governing building plans near water bodies throughout the State and approved the water conservation programme in 2021 along the lines of the flagship programme of the previous administration. In Maharashtra, it was previously prohibit to conduct building work within 15 metres of large water bodies and 4.5 metres of minor water bodies.
