Homebuyers Are Interested In Moving To Navi Mumbai

Recently, Navi Mumbai has been the preferred choice for homebuyers

Homebuyers Moving to Navi Mumbai- It was a difficult choice for us to leave Dadar, which is a desirable area. After all, it’s undoubtedly among the best places to reside in terms of connectivity. But how can you function in a small home where there isn’t enough space, both literally and mentally? We were five people who shared a small kitchen in a chawl. As a result, moving to Sanpada in 2021 has been nothing short of happiness. Yes, I agree that going to work & college during the monsoons might be challenging.

However, we had given it some thought and carefully made the choice. Both of our daughters need their own room to grow properly as developing children. Additionally, my elderly mother also needs a cosy area. Therefore, we did not want to make any concessions on the greater and more crucial issues only to get through two or three months of monsoons. We haven’t sold our Dadar house because it might be redeveloped, but we don’t have any immediate plans to return. Even once the building is renovated, we will keep renting it out.

Like the Obrai family, many families have recently relocated to Navi Mumbai from prestigious areas in the main metropolis. Once upon a time, people in Mumbai lived contentedly in smaller homes. They did so whether or not their house was close to their workplace or in a well-known neighbourhood. But things started to alter over time.

We have noticed an increase in transactions from individuals who were either renting a tiny flat or owning a modest property in Mumbai’s central business district. We’ve also heard of people who bought a two-bedroom flat in Navi Mumbai by just selling their one-bedroom flat in central Mumbai. Additionally, the current and future infrastructural development, together with a high quality of living, draw today’s young purchasers who want more than simply a house with four walls.

The most frequent reasons for people to relocate to areas that were once thought of as being on the ‘outskirts’ include an increase in home size, affordable housing, developments with cutting-edge amenities, good social infrastructure, cleaner air, transport options connecting not only the employment hubs but also various nearby gate-away destinations, and higher living standards.

Reasonable prices, larger homes, and a higher standard of living all outweigh the two months of hardship during the monsoon season. We can’t satisfy all of our wants at once. And we residents of Mumbai are fully aware of this truth. In Mumbai, you must choose between forgoing comfort or paying dearly for it. We initially focused our search on a home only in Kandivali, where we resided till 2018. However, a two or more BHK was far beyond our means. However, we made the decision that even if we venture a bit further into the suburbs, we still wanted a reasonably developed location, so we acquired a house in Vashi.

Furthermore, it does not seem like we live in a remote area anymore. Vashi has everything, from social infrastructure to communication. We’ve known for almost five years that we made the right choice because prices in this complex have climbed by at least 5% since we purchased the house. Even though we first had to make some lifestyle and travel modifications, now that we are accustomed to it. Everything seems to have been worth it. We made the shift to Navi Mumbai without regret.

Conclusion

Navi Mumbai is also quickly becoming the newest commercial district due to its easy access to both Mumbai & Pune, well-planned infrastructure, & reasonably affordable office lease costs, among other considerations.

In Navi Mumbai, two big malls are expected to open over the next four years, showing that the retail industry is catching up to the growing number of residential & commercial projects. Additionally, the housing prices have increased significantly over the past five years. Making Navi Mumbai a popular destination for both end users and investors who acquire apartments to rent out.
