Central Park Kharghar will remain open from today for all the visitors. However, visitors will need to follow all the COVID-19 protocols. Wearing Mask is Compulsory if you are visiting this place. The timing will remain the same as before,<\/p>\n

People of Kharghar were waiting for the opening of Central Park for a long time. The central park was shut down on 22nd March 2020, due to the lockdown imposed worldwide by the government of India to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Now the park was closed for almost 11 months.<\/p>\n

Since the situation is getting in control this nearly a year-long wait for the reopening of Kharghar Central Park finally vanished.\u00a0 The park is under maintenance by CIDCO and has decided to reopen the park from today i.e. 10th February 2021. This news of the reopening of Kharghar park has given great relief to the people who were regularly visiting this Park for various recreational activities.<\/p>\n

CIDCO has taken the decision of reopening this place for the reason that the number of cases of COVID-19 in Navi Mumbai is decreasing and the situation is under control and a yearlong awaited vaccine is also now available which has given great relief to everyone all across the world.<\/p>\n

Ever since the central park and every other park in Kharghar were closed people were restricted to take morning and evening walks on the roads of Kharghar, which surely was not a good option. With the opening of Central Park, both evening and morning walkers have\u00a0breathed<\/span>\u00a0a\u00a0sigh<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0relief.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The central park Kharghar is the most happening place in Kharghar where people go and spend their quality time with nature. The garden is widely spread over an area of 290 acres (119 hectares) of land and covers sectors 23, 24, and 25 of Kharghar. The park was build in the year 2009 and is open for the public since the year 2010. The park is a beautiful landscape and is a home variety of different trees, shrubs, flowering plants, and 100’s of migrant and local birds.<\/p>\n

This Kharghar CIDCO park has sitting arrangements at various different places few of them are also shaded to protect you from rain and sun. The park also has restrooms at various different places which are well maintained by CIDCO. There is an arrangement of drinking water too for all the visitors of central park. If you get hungry in between then you can buy some snacks from the hawkers available just outside central park next to the main entrance. If you want to carry your own food then there are no restrictions on that, you can carry your picnic bags with your family and can enjoy your snacks amidst nature.<\/p>\n

The central park has a grand entry gate and ample parking space for 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers inside the gate. There are no charges for these secured parking spaces. While construction it had been decided that there will be some entry fees for visiting the central park, but afterward CIDCO has decided free entry to all the visitors. For that reason, there is a one-ticket counter at the entry gate of the central park but you do not have to worry about anything, and you can enter the garden without any hassle.<\/p>\n

If you want to travel by public transport then the NMMT bus services with proper bus stop and private auto rikshawalas’ are available just next to the gate.<\/p>\n

The Kids Play Area<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Once you enter the gate you will find the Huge Kids play area on the right-hand side of the gate. This section of the Park is the most loved place by all the kids and their parents. There are various different playing equipment available for kids’ entertainment. There are a number of merry-go rounds, swings, see-saws, slides, and various other equipment like these.<\/p>\n

Amphitheater<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The most favored place of central park by the visitors is the open-air Amphitheater. This is a wide-open sitting arrangement with huge capacity, where if you climb up high to the top of this place, you will feel the soothing breeze and fresh air.<\/p>\n

On one side of this amphitheater, there are stairs and on the other side, it is a steep natural hill. You can get a nice view of Kharghar from this place sitting with your friends and families. The amphitheater has a big open stage and is open to the public all the time. There is one fountain next to this stage which in operation for some reason.<\/p>\n
