People fast, give to charities, and volunteer on this day. Gently place the Kalash on the chowki.<\/li>\n<li>Light an oil lamp and some incense. Sit down on a yellow chair.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The Akshaya Tritiya Pujan Vidhi<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Start reciting the Ganesh mantra, Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha. Offering water, akshat, flowers, kalava, janeu, fruits, and dakshina will help you win the god&#8217;s favour.<\/li>\n<li>Chant &#8220;Shreem&#8221; for Lakshmi, the goddess. Recite Lord Vishnu-related scriptures like the Vishnu Chalisa or the Vishnu Sahasranama. Give the gods prayers, water, akshat, and mauli.<\/li>\n<li>Give Lord Vishnu janeu and Lady Lakshmi sindoor.
