Due to name mismatches, several customers have also stated that PAN-Aadhaar linkage is incomplete.<\/p>\n

The e-filing website for the Income Tax Department states that it can take a few days for a payment made through e-Pay tax\/ NSDL (now Protean) to appear on the portal. So, it is advisable to apply for PAN-Aadhaar linkage after 4 to 5 days of making the payment if the e-filing system does not permit a user to move further after paying the costs. The PAN of taxpayers whose Aadhaar has not been link by June 30, 2023, will no longer be valid, according to CBDT.<\/yoastmark><\/p>\n
