13 July 2023: Following the lead of the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA), the Assam RERA has also chosen to put the state’s housing developments under grading. According to a remark made by one of the RERA’s senior executives, “Starting grading systems for real estate projects is one of the most important responsibilities for the body. This is in accordance with the guidelines prepared during the formation of RERA.” There will be many factors to be researched in order to put the grading system into practise, including the project review, technical overview, legal overview, financial information, and more.<\/p>\n

With the introduction of this grading system, purchasers will now be better equipped to weed out unqualified builders and property developers and have a better knowledge of the appropriateness and quality of a project.
