July 27, 2023:<\/strong> In Sikar, Rajasthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will announce the disbursement of the 14th installment of the PM Kisan programme. The ministry of chemicals and fertilisers and the ministry of agriculture and farmers welfare will work together to host the event. The event would draw almost two crore farmers in person and digitally.<\/p>\n

More than 8.5 lakh farmers would receive the Rs 17,000 crore in the 14th installment, which was issued by the PM with the press of a mouse. The total cash distribute to beneficiaries since the scheme’s commencement is anticipated to surpass Rs 2.59 lakh crore. According to a statement from the government, “this financial assistance will support farmers in meeting their daily needs and contribute to their overall well-being.”<\/p>\n

One of the largest direct benefits transfer programmes in the world is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. As the government’s flagship programme, it serves as an example of the Center’s ongoing commitment to launching policy initiatives for a diverse and effective agricultural sector.<\/p>\n
