Kamothe mansarovar is a well developed node under CIDCO, Navi Mumbai and falls under Raigad district. It is the third node from Panvel.

Kamothe, named as smart city is one of the developing cleanest city in navi Mumbai. With free way foot paths and hassle free street vendors. The contoures of India first major navi mumbai smart city are taking shape over the 75 sq km area encompassing seven nodes in Navi Mumbai, and one new township abutting the upcoming airport. One among those 7 smart cities are Kamothe mansarovar navimumbai. Kamothe comprises of 48 sectors. Although the sectors are not placed evenly, they are in well planned manner. Kamothe is one of the slum-free modern node in Navi Mumbai. The western region of kamothe is a wet land area with enormous mangroves and the Arabian sea creek crossing the mangroves.
Kamothe does not have enough reputed schools as compared to the neighbouring cities. Few schools that has a good crowd are MNR school of Excellence, St. Joseph high School. There is only one mall at present in kamothe Navimumbai namely Mahalakshmi mall with basic amenities. There are a huge number of shops and other multi purpose shopping facility easily available here.

Kamothe falls under Harbour line and can be connected to any part of the city through local trains. It take 75 minutes to reach CST and 8 minutes to reach panvel where you can connect to the express trains platforms. The station is under developed with parking facility available.
Auto rickshaws provide the primary means of local transportation. Here the rickshaws run only on main road on a share per head basis. There is quite a good amount of rickshaw facility available as compared to NMMT buses.
3 Metro: Kamothe will have its metro station in Sector-10. It will reduce the load of passengers travelling during peak hours.
4 Navi Mumbai International Airport:
There is an international airport proposed and it is expected to be functional by 2018. It is expected to carry 10 to 15 million floating passengers in its first operational year. There is a NhavaSheva and sewri sea link that will connect airport not only to Navi Mumbai but also to south Mumbai and pune within shorter period of time.
SITE SEEING & ENTERTAINMENT:
There is no site seeing in kamothe. The huge amount of mangroves and creek covers up half the land in kamothe leaving the rest to infrastructure. Since the area is under developing there are few good amenities for public expected.
Property rates in kamothe range between Rs. 4800/- to 9000/- per sq.ft at present. Kamothe in the current scenario has got all types of latest apartment plans that are modern to typical as per people’s standard. There are LIG, MIG and HIG class of housing available. The area is segregated into LIG, MIG and HIG street wise from station towards highway. Kamothe is rising high with population and almost 90% of public is settled and occupied the flats here in this newly developing city.
