Who qualifies for the CIDCO lottery programme for 2022?

Draw date for the September 2022
On November 23, 2022, CIDCO released the list of selected candidates via an online lottery draw. The lottery draw was conducted, and the results were made public at 11:00 am the same day. As a consequence, 4,158 homes in total were allocated. In Navi Mumbai, “Housing for All” was pushed through the CIDCO housing programme, which was unveiled in September 2022.
What to do if you win the CIDCO lottery
Following their selection in the CIDCO lottery, all successful candidates will be required to do these tasks.
- You will get a “First Intimation Letter” by mail from the company. The papers listed in the letter, including the PAN card, residence certificate, income certificate/paystub, passport, voter’s ID, birth certificate, driver’s licence, and school diploma, will need to be submitted by all winners.
- CIDCO representatives will cross-check each document that is provided. You will receive a “Provisional Offer Letter” if all the papers you supplied are accurate. You will receive a letter requesting the necessary papers if the corporation discovers any inconsistencies in the provided documentation.
- Must pay a specific sum for the apartment within a particular length of time after receiving the provisional offer letter. For instance, winners of the MHADA lottery had 45 days from the day the notice was sent to pay 25% of the flat fee. Winners must pay the remaining sum in another 60 days. If not, interest will be assessed.
- You will receive an allocation letter once you have paid the full sum of the apartment. Pay any applicable stamp duty and registration fees and deliver a copy of the registration certificate to the CIDCO office.
- You will receive three copies of the letter of possession.
Process for refunds
The registration fee (EMD) will be returned to all rejected applicants’ bank accounts. The opportunity to store the money in the CIDCO wallet for next lottery schemes is provided by CIDCO. CIDCO will swiftly return the money if you decide you do not wish to keep the refund in your wallet.
If you paid for the application with a debit or credit card, CIDCO will reimburse the money to your bank account immediately. Demand Drafts (DDs) are the only payment method accepted if you make your payment using one.
