Expressway from Nagpur to Mumbai: Recent News (November 2022)

By 2023, the Samruddhi Expressway will be in use. Devendra Fadnavis, the Deputy Chief Minister, has declared that the opening of the Nagpur–Mumbai Expressway will take place in January 2023. A notice published on October 4 states that quadricycles, auto rickshaws, and two-wheelers would not be permitted on the highway.

Eight-person vehicles classified as “M1” may drive at a top speed of 120 kmph, with a 100 kmph speed limit in Ghat portions and tunnels. The maximum speed restriction is 80 kmph on ghats and in tunnel parts and 100 kmph if there are more than eight passengers. The highest speed restriction on the expressway for all N-Category goods trucks is 80 kmph.
