Navi Mumbai Coastal Road

The major route connecting Navi Mumbai and Mumbai will be the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) and the Sewri Nhava connection. The Navi Mumbai International Airport and the South and Central Mumbai districts will be seamlessly connected thanks to the Kharghar Coastal Link Road.

The coastal road alignment has 1,182 mature mangroves, which are disperse over 8.22 hectares. In cooperation with the Mangrove Cell, CIDCO has stated its commitment to replace the mangrove trees. The MCZMA minutes state that all relevant approvals, including prior High Court clearance, must be secure before cutting any mangroves.
